She wondered at his apathy. There he was, shrugging his shoulders, a corner of his mouth upturned, his hands in his pockets.
Would you say something? She wanted to scream at him. How can he be so calm, so sure, so unaffected? Was she the only one worried about what the news implied about the future?

Hyperbole
She looked out the window at what she had done and wished for death.
Cold sweat poured from her forehead. Her breath came in short puffs as she struggled not to make a sound, as she crouched beneath the kitchen window. She was trapped, tired and terrified, unable to think of a plan of action.
Her knees shook as the car headlights shone bigger on the opposite wall. She prayed that he wouldn't notice what she had done. The car door opened and slammed shut a moment later. She closed her eyes. Oh please, oh please, oh please don't let him notice.

Single Word Sympathy
I have always found the word "condolence" to be a bit puzzling; a reason I have for not using it when expressing sympathy for someone who's dealing with the death of a loved one. To say to that person, "Condolence, (person's name)." somehow feels like giving an incredibly thirsty man hot chocolate to drink; its a nice gesture, but a glass of water would've been more appropriate.

Kids
I've always been frustrated by the fact that I know very few kids who could be goaded into doing something like those on the videos. I've never dreamt of becoming a film director, but I've always been fascinated by the creativity (not to mention perseverance) that goes into creating even just a two-minute video.
Two Williams
I was reading through a blog and in it saw this video.

Google Translate Fails and Meddlesome Folk
I just typed the word "pikon" in Google Translate and it insists that in English, its "harmony".
Oh, the irony.
Why did I attempt it? E kasi napikon ako. And I wanted to say it. But how am I supposed to, now? (Okay, so I'll tell the story.)
